Terms of Service
Effective 26 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and us for using GTAVI.RIP. They're written to be read. If something isn't clear, ask us at legal@gtavi.rip.
1. Who we are
GTAVI.RIP (gtavi.rip) is run by Marko Tičinović, a private individual based in Croatia (“we”, “us”). Contact: legal@gtavi.rip. This address is also our single point of contact for users and for authorities under the EU Digital Services Act (DSA); we handle messages in English and Croatian.
2. An independent fan project
GTAVI.RIP is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive. “Grand Theft Auto”, “GTA” and related names are trademarks of their owners and are used only to describe what the community talks about. We have no inside information about any game, its features or its release date. Predictions and illustrations on this site are fiction, not gameplay.
3. Accepting these terms
By using the site you agree to these terms, the Community Guidelines (part of these terms) and our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
4. Age and accounts
- You must be at least 16 to create an account. Browsing and making predictions without an account is open to everyone.
- You sign in with Google or Discord. Keep that account secure; you're responsible for what happens through yours.
- One person, one account. Don't impersonate others or pick a username that misleads people (for example pretending to be staff, a creator or a company).
- Tell us at legal@gtavi.rip if you think someone else is using your account.
5. The service
The site is free. We may change, add or remove features, and before the game's release some features (clip submissions, challenges, the Hall of Fame) aren't available yet. We try to keep the site running but can't promise it will always be available or error-free; we may pause features, for example to stop abuse or do maintenance.
6. Your content
You keep ownership
You keep all rights you have in what you create and submit, such as prediction cards, report text and videos (“your content”).
The licence you give us
So we can run the site, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, process, adapt (for example trim, transcode, resize, generate thumbnails and share cards), display and distribute your content on and through GTAVI.RIP, including in share previews, search results and our own promotion of the site. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies that others already shared, content kept for the legal and safety reasons described in the Privacy Policy, and backups that expire on their own schedule.
What you promise
- You recorded the footage yourself or have permission to publish it, and you have the rights to everything you submit.
- It shows fictional gameplay only: no real people getting hurt, and nobody's private information.
- It follows the Community Guidelines and the law.
Public means public
A shared prediction link can be opened by anyone who has it. A published report is visible to everyone and may appear in search engines. Only share what you're happy to be public.
7. What you must not do
- Post anything that breaks the Community Guidelines or the law.
- Upload content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights.
- Harass, threaten or expose anyone, or encourage others to.
- Spam, manipulate votes or rankings, use multiple accounts to get around limits or bans, or sell accounts.
- Scrape the site at scale, overload it, probe or bypass its security, rate limits or moderation, or access other people's accounts or data.
- Upload malware or anything designed to harm devices or the service.
- Use the site to advertise or sell anything without our written permission.
Security researchers: if you find a vulnerability, please report it privately to legal@gtavi.rip and give us reasonable time to fix it. We won't pursue good-faith research that avoids harming users and data.
8. Moderation, removal and appeals
- Review before publishing. Every clip is checked by a person before it becomes public. Approval of one version doesn't cover later edits; edits are reviewed again.
- Removal. We may reject, remove, unpublish or limit content, or suspend or close accounts, that breaks these terms, the Guidelines or the law, or that puts people or the service at risk.
- Reasons. When we act on your content or account, we tell you what we did and why (the rule involved and whether the decision followed a report), unless the law or safety reasons prevent it.
- Complaints and appeals. You can challenge a decision within 6 months by emailing legal@gtavi.rip with the report link or ID and why you think we got it wrong. A person who wasn't involved in the original decision where possible reviews it, and we tell you the outcome without undue delay. You may also use a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body under the DSA, or the courts.
- Reporting. Anyone can report content they believe is illegal or breaks our rules. See Report content. We don't remove content just because many people reported it; we look at what it is.
- Repeat misuse. We may suspend accounts that repeatedly post clearly illegal content or repeatedly send clearly unfounded reports, after a warning.
9. Our content
The site's design, text, illustrations, code and the GTAVI.RIP name are ours or used with permission. You may share links, cards and screenshots of the site for normal, non-commercial purposes. Fonts are used under the SIL Open Font License.
10. Responsibility and liability
- The site is provided free of charge and as it is. Content posted by users is their responsibility, not ours.
- To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by events outside our reasonable control.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for intent or gross negligence, or any other liability that can't be limited by law, and nothing affects the mandatory rights you have as a consumer.
11. Ending the agreement
You can stop using the site at any time and ask us to delete your account at legal@gtavi.rip. We may suspend or close accounts as described in section 8, and we may shut down the service with reasonable notice where possible; if we do, we'll give you a way to get a copy of your content.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when features change. We'll show the new effective date, and for important changes we'll tell signed-in users at least 15 days before they apply. If you keep using the site after that, the new terms apply; if you don't agree, you can close your account.
13. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Croatia. If you're a consumer living in another EU country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of that country and may bring proceedings there. Please contact us first at legal@gtavi.rip; most problems can be solved quickly.
14. Other
If part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce something right away, we haven't waived it. You can't transfer your rights under these terms without our agreement. The English version of these terms is the original.
